Conference Reception and Registration

Welcome package collection and light refreshments from 15:00 onwards on 02.08.2026 

Lecture Hall 

Room A30 in the Vet School.  

There are two doors on the ground floor and two back doors on the first floor.  

Stairs and Lift available. 

 

General House keeping 

There is a Drinking Water refilling station on the ground floor. 

Toilets are on the ground floor opposite the A30 entrance. 

A First-Aid box will be available at the Conference reception. 

Meals 

All meals will be on first floor of The Barn building 

Refreshments will be in the Vet School Foyer. 

Please check dietary requests during registration.  

 

Conference attire 

Smart Casual 

 

Weather: we have had some hot days recently (32 -36oC); so summer/lightweight clothing with a light jumper or jacket/shawl for evening should be fine. 

Pack comfortable footwear for light walks. 

 

Speaker talks 

  • Bring your slides as a pptx file on a USB or USB-C portable device. 

  • Follow sign to the Speaker Zone to upload your slides. Student volunteers will be present for help.  

  • Talks should be uploaded on to the Conference computer on Sunday 2nd August between 15:00 and 18:00.  

  • If you wish to check your slides before the lecture, please contact the Conference reception desk and they will provide access to a computer room next to the main lecture hall. 

  • Use of personal laptops for the lecture is not allowed (unless there is a special need).  

  • We have a very tight schedule and connecting your device that will require additional time is not possible. 

 

Session Chairs 

  • All session chairs are requested to contact speakers before the session. Email contact prior to conference is also fine. 

  • Speakers may provide 2-4 introductory sentences (less than 100 words) to the session chair.  

  • One of the session chairs is requested to keep time and alert to round up 2 min before the scheduled finish time.  

  • Speakers should stick to time so that there is enough time for discussion.  

 

Photography and Recording 

  • An official photographer will cover the entire conference.  

  • All photos, including the group photo will be made available upon request. 

  • Attendees should please resist taking any photos themselves, or making video or voice recordings of lectures and discussions. The Conference organizers have a right to delete or take away the device or ask the attendee to leave. This has been put in place so as to allow attendees to feel comfortable in sharing and discussing their latest data.
